We had never been to Costa Rica before and were planning our wedding from the United States. I really liked Joshua's style and contacted him. He was very prompt and gave great suggestions. The night of our wedding he played some of our choices along with his own during dinner. Joshua was very friendly and did an amazing job with music choice! We would recommend him to our friends and family. Thanks Josh!!

Our Boutique was asked to make a fashion show for 180 women of the Gold Coast Women Group. We planned a World Tour show with fashion, food and music. Joshua brought his incredible playlist from all over the world and the invaluable knowledge to get all the pieces together with rhythm and flow.. making everybody dance at the end of the show with the Gangam style.
He made this event an unforgettable one!

Joshua entertained our crowd of 90 guests (all flew from the US) all night. He worked with me on the playlist but I also gave him freedom as we didn't pick enough songs for the duration of the reception and everything he picked fit in so well with the crowd. He played a lot of the hits in the US and threw in Spanish music like bachata, salsa and meringue. He was also able to accommodate a large percentage of our guests who are Filipino and wanted to do line dancing (we provided the list of songs but he knew most of them anyway) which really kept everyone on the dance floor until we had to send everyone back to the resort.

At the end of the night, we had a fireworks display and Joshua blew our mind when he played "Kiss from a Rose" because it just made it so romantic and the song meant so much to us.

We found Joshua online a couple weeks before our wedding and he was very helpful the whole way leading up to the big day. We were able to communicate via email (he is very quick to respond ;)) and on the phone to make sure everything was organized perfectly.

With all of the speeches, first dance, slide-show,etc there was a nice smooth flow to the evening and Mark and I never had to worry about a thing.

He gave us tons of options for music throughout the night and he really paid attention to our preferences such as reggeaton and even house music later on :) Our guests were on the dance floor all night and everyone wanted to keep the party going!

It is very obvious to us that Joshua really cares about his work, and we would recommend him to anyone having a wedding in Costa Rica!

Joshua really made our wedding in Costa Rica the PERFECT PARTY!! His manner of interacting with not only me as the bride but with each and every party guest is extremely friendly. He put me very at ease. He also does a WONDERFUL job of announcing specific events of the wedding evening in a very easy-going, but "party-starting" way. He keeps the "flow" going very well.

As far as the planning part of working with Joshua, he is VERY organized and timely. He uses an excel spread sheet to choose each and every song you would like for your event. This includes LOTS of suggestions for "party-starter" songs, which I really appreciated in making my selections. It was very easy to set up how the evening would flow, and he honored everything we had specifically asked for. In doing this, he also added his own creative flare to the evening in areas where we had no music planned. He used a VERY UNIQUE, latin-inspired, what I call "chill" music for the dinner part of the evening. I feel like this selection was very appropriate for the setting and really set the mood for the evening.

I would definitely choose to work with Joshua/Deepsound again. It was the perfect evening...and as we all know, a party is only as good as its music! Thanks Josh!

Music makes a Reception and Joshua @ Deepsound made our Music a HUGE success...from start to finish. We put together our own songlist from our guests favorite songs and Joshua found them all. The dinner songs were beautiful and the dance songs were fun and our guests were on their feet having a blast. Joshua was very friendly and professional. This is a first class operation. Our wedding in Costa Rica was perfect, beautiful and everything I have dreamed of. Thank you Joshua!!!!!

My husband and I just got married in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica on 07/27/12 and hired Joshua as our DJ. We couldn't have been more happy with our choice...Joshua showed up early, was very professional, and had our guest dancing all night long! His music equipment had a great sound and the light show gave it a perfect touch!

Joshua showed up early, got everything ready then came back when agreed and gave us a great night. He had people dancing all night, and managed to satisfy our diverse crowd of Americans, Europeans, Costa Ricans, adults and children. A great night was had by all and Joshua was the key to it all.

My husband and I got married in Tamarindo, Costa Rica and had the most amazing and memorable time with our friends and family. Joshua from Deepsound was our DJ for the event and he got people on the dance floor and kept the party moving. Before the event, Joshua was always available to finalize our song list, had a huge database of songs to choose from and even able to edit cuts of your favourites. He is professional, reliable and you can tell he loves what he does. He played exactly the type of music we love and catered to a diverse crowd. It was such a fun party and I would recommend Joshua for anyone hosting an event.
